As always, you are keeping me from having tunnel vision. Thank you.
I don't have Version Six yet. My version of TMG was ordered after
September, so the upgrade is free. I asked for a serial number, but they
said wait a few days. We're past a few days, but haven't bugged them about
it. Since it is more important that more experienced users can get it and
find any bugs, I'll wait until after the holidays before asking again.

I'm just going through the data slowly (you can see the brain matter smoking
from the heat generated <g>), so they are fixed and back with dates. The
lessons on sentence structure will help fix the basic problem.
--EDIT CHECKING, GENERAL
----------------------
My personal opinion is that one should *not* develop a fixation with
only one kind of report for edit checking. ....Check for "unexpected
results".
I had noticed a difference on occasion, but since I'm still building a
foundation of understanding, it didn't register as something to watch for.
--EDIT CHECKING USING SECOND SITE
-------------------------------
It has been remarked since the very beginning of beta testing that
Second Site is a remarkably good "reality check" for TMG data entry.
If you anticipate using TMG to create output in HTML that makes up a
structured whole, whether designed for Web publishing or for creating CDs,
you owe it to yourself to buy Second Site.
I've thought about creating a website for the McGaffigan/M'Geoghegan
surname, since it is fairly small. Now, we're not talking about anytime
soon. There has to be a real value for someone else before that happens. I
just finished three years as a webmaster for the AAUW of Washington and am
very happy to have a professional firm take over and totally redo the
website. I'll think about your suggestion.
Again, thanks for taking the time to work me through all of this. It is
like you guys are standing behind my computer helping me work through stuff.
Sue
