No, most sentences should not be odd. They may require editing to better
suit the specific event, but they should reasonably close in general to
what is needed for the particular Tag. That does not mean that every Tag
and/or Witness Sentence will fit all situations, but they should be
reasonable close. One reason that editing may be required is if the
specific event is a little different (needs explanatory remarks when most
others of the same kind do not) or you want the sentence to be different
(that is, you are tired of the "he was born, he married, he died, he was
buried" style of narrative and want something less boring. Otherwise, the
default sentences should generally fit the situation and be reasonably
close to grammatically correct.
