I am speaking of the default Sentences on standard Tags. Sentences create
by TMG for Custom Tags are somewhat of an unknown because of the
impossibility of the program to know to designed use of a Custom
Tag. Custom Tag Names could almost be any word and that could be a verb or
noun or any other part of speech. The basic design of most Sentences by
TMG is predicated on the expectation that the Tag Name will be a verb. But
the user can assign any word and then must manually adjust the Sentence to
conform to grammatical rules.
As for the History Tag, there is a standard History Tag and the default
Sentence for Witnesses (there are NO Principals in a History Tag) is:
[W] witnessed [M] <[D]> <[L]>
which is different from what you have. I do not know where that came from
but it is not the default Sentence for a standard History Tag.
