Subject: RE: [TMG] v6 - "83" brings up Picklist from PV -- keystroke buglets?

I've left this sitting here for a bit so I could play with it. Since I don't
want to do my actual work this morning, I took a minute to do so. ;) It's
not "83" that does it, it's just 3. (And it's not just 3 on the number
pad -- the regular # keys will work, too.) Here's what I've found in putzing
around:

2 seems to send you to the first primary tag after the Birth tag, but only
if it's below the current tag.

3 (or Ctrl+3) opens the picklist. This one also works from the child and
sibling windows.

4 and 6 inconsistently do something I can't figure out, but which may be
related to their <-- and --> functions on the keypad.

0 sends you to the primary birth tag.

Ctrl+0 sends you to the primary birth tag, but also brings up a Microsoft
Foxpro dialogue that says only "Ok", with no other apparent effect.

I wasn't able to get any other results on the PV using number keys in any
combination. It looks to me like we might be actually seeing loose
keystrokes that should be trapped by the coding but aren't. I don't think
that most of them are worth reporting, but Ctrl+0 is certainly a bug, and
the behavior of #4 while in PV may also be a buglet.

Well, that was entertaining. Now I have to do my work ... :P

Looking down at my papers, I thought I was entering the date 1183 into a
tag's date field. When I looked up, there was the open Picklist. I played
for a minute to figure out how that happened and learned that "83" is a
magic code which calls the Picklist from the PV. So now I'm wondering what
*other* cool codes exist ... <VBG>
