Okay, enquiring minds want to know, was the second mother the children's
mother, or did you just move them to get the other marriage not to print?
And it wasn't cluttering since I learned something. <G>

Solved! The nonprimary spouse had children with the descendent, so TMG
quite reasonably showed her on the chart. Once I reassigned the children to
the other mother the nonprimary spouse is no longer shown.

Sorry for cluttering the list with a problem I figured out myself.
