Subject: Problem with places in a new data set

I made a new data set in my project so that I could delete some confidential
information about some family members before I sent away a CD-ROM using
Second Site. I did it this way so that I could then delete the new data set
and still retain the confidential information in my main data set

I have included a "short place" in each of the Short place: fields for each
place entry in the Master Place List, eg Broken Hill, New South Wales,
Australia has Broken Hill, NSW, AUS in the short place field.

When I created the new data set, using LOP, I found that, although the place
descriptions came over correctly, there was nothing in the short place field
in the new data set!

What can I do to ensure that all the place data comes over fully
