Subject: Attn: Terry--possible omission in Census tag Tips
Date: Fri, 1 Apr 2005 20:43:48 EST
Terry,
On your:
Terry's TMG Tips, Terry's Census Tag - Simpler Version
at:
http://tmg.reigelridge.com/Census-Tag-Basic.htm
At about the 3rd page, under:
Sentence Structures for 1880 and Later Census
you write:
with Parents:
[W] appeared on the 1880 Federal Census <of [LCI],><[LCN],> [LS] in the
household of his parents [P]<, [WM]><[MO]>
Question:
Will that sentence give *both* parents?
Should it read more like?:
[W] appeared on the 1880 Federal Census <of [LCI],><[LCN],> [LS] in the
household of his parents [P] and [PO]<, [WM]><[MO]>
(that would be adding the 'and [PO]' to the sentence structure)
I am just learning, so be gentle with me if I am wrong....<grin>
