Greetings:

For the first time since I finished setting up TMG 6 to my liking (for the moment) I am doing high-volume data entry. It involves a register-format manuscript running over 500 single-spaced typewritten pages; I am working my way up a family line. In the process I discovered the following non-optimal behaviors. For one or more of them, they are specific examples of something that occurs in other, similar contexts as well:

1. If a memo field begins with [D] (no conditional brackets), the memo is all of the sentence structure, and the date is a year only, the sentence output in the Individual Narrative Preview begins "<FARIAL>1905".

2. It is possible to save a citation for source "0" with no other contents.

3. When the "Add father" menu option is chosen, the place style selected in the Tags before place data is entered is not the current default. This risks inadvertent modification of existing MPL place records' styles. It is easily fixed, but still....

4. I have custom Roles for my Marriage Tag. The Roles list order for the Tag Type begins with "Groom", then "Bride". When adding a mother for a person who already has a father assigned, I am asked if I wish to create a marriage for the father and the mother. When I respond affirmatively, both persons default to the "Groom" Role. This is true even though I have defined "Groom" as appropriate only for males, and "Bride" only for females. Another case of "easily fixed, but still".

These may of course have been reported long ago, but I wasn't paying attention at the time.
