The more I think about it, I think this was something added in v.6, and I
ended up redoing the entire Add page to include all the new goodies. I don't
think you can just add it to what is there prior to v.6.

both the Tag Type and the program and project defaults (anywhere in either
of those sections, if any, that a place style can be selected as the
default). I will look in the Add page section.
