Hi, Dick:

Only *source*-related information should be put into the citation detail. My MPL method doesn't do anything with the citation or source. I take what others would put into the Place Detail field and put it in the Tag Memo. For example, the memo might read "||in the Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens" for a Burial Tag. The Tag Type sentence for the "Interred" Role includes "<[M2]><[L]>". The output will then be something like:

"He was buried in the Oakland Hills Memorial
Gardens in Livonia, Oakland County, Michigan."

So it reads much the same as another approach might do it, but it still only requires *one* MPL record for "Livonia, Oakland County, Michigan".

Text put into a citation can't be output as part of a sentence, as far as I know.
