Hi Judith:
Yes, I am familiar with the Yad Vashem database (I also visited the
museum in Israel). I keep trying every month or so to find my
ancestors, no luck yet. I found some with similar names but I can't be
sure. My aunt had the same problem, it could be that when my
grandfather submitted the names they were in their early 20's and could
have made some mistakes.
I'll find out eventually.

I assume that you are familiar with the online Yad Vashem database. It
came online in November, and I've found it a trove of family information
(unfortunately). About 1/2 of the victims are entered at this time and
the rest should be in a few years. Beside the transport lists and cc
lists, it includes testamonies by survivors for others who were killed
by whatever means. The search engine is a good one.
