TMG will create the index entries for MS/Word (or others) but you must tell
MS/Word where to put the index and then have Word generate the index.
So, In MS/Word, the usual procedure is to locate in the report where you
want the index to print. Usually this will be at the end of the
report. So go to the end of the report to the ends of the Endnotes
(footnotes) and place your cursor there. If you want the index to start at
the top of a page, you will want to add a new page.
Now select the Insert=>Index and Tables option from the Main Menu of
MS/Word. Choose the Index tab, the format of index that you want, whether
you want right aligned page numbers, and other options as desired. Then
click on the [OK] button to generate the index.
