I am attempting to create a compressed pedigree report and it is filled with strange characters and odd output instead of lines. I tried find something about this in the online help, the TMG manual, and Lee's TMG tips site, and this seems to be a problem when certain fonts are missing on the computer, or are outdated in the case Courier New, which somehow includes MS LineDraw.

Out of the four needed fonts, HelvSS43, HelvSS75, Wholly, and MS LineDraw, I can find only HelvSS75 on my system.

The problem with MS LineDraw only applies to TMG v.4, as far as I can determine. I am using v.5.15. Also, my version of Courier New is 2.76, and anything above 2.50 is considered current, according to Lee's site.

Nevertheless, I went to the Wholly Genes site hoping to find these fonts. I could not. I also can't find my Win98 installation disk, so searching on it for these fonts is out of the question until I can dig it up.

Is a lack of proper fonts causing this problem, and, if so, where can I find them?

Example:
<FA line TMG> 3 3 ÚÄÄ William H. Frum (69), b. circa 1755.......
