Dorothy,

I'm not Terry, but I haven't seen a reply go past to this...

Start with the Report menu
Select List of
Then Citations
On the definition screen which comes up next,
Select, ie click on, the radio button next to
Filtered Group
Click on the Add button to the right
In the Report filter screen that comes up next
Under Field,
Click on the down arrow to bring up a list of options
Select Source number
Click on the down arrow under Operator
Select = Equals
Then in the Value field enter the
[?]
You've just designed a filter.
To save it for future reference, go up to the Save Filter As box and enter a
name you'll recognise next time

Click OK

To run it, select Print and Save.
When prompted to "Fill in the blank"
Enter your source number in the Value field.

Your report will then run to whatever output options you selected.

Good luck,

Lorna McIntosh

Hi,
Thank you Terry for the new tutorials, the index, etc.
I dislike having to ask but I have to. It's been since
February 24, 2004 (yes), and off and on I have tried to
look at all the tags in which a specific source is cited
with the List of Citations report. You suggested then
using a Filtered group, with a filter of:

Source Number Equals [?]

and said when I run the report then would be prompted to
enter a source number, so it could easily be run several
times for different sources.

I understand why the information will produce this result
but I don't know how to put it in the right place (field), or
which drop-down menu to select, what I need are the
keystrokes. I saw only one article on filters in your index
and I've studied it.

The reason I want to know which source belongs to which
tag, is that since 1998 I've been trying to get events that
were originally in Notes changed into tags.

Maybe I'm in the wrong direction, but thank you anyway
for reading this long message and for your comments.
dorothy
