They all seem to have a short place.

The problem likely started with either RootsXX or TMG while backing up and
how it was handled. Likely it was in Roots and somehow saved all places from
all databases (though the databases were not inter connected). It appears
that many of the places are from GedComs that were download and as separate
databases to be looked at and were never merged with any other database. It
is a database that I have not worked on very much in the last several years.
Needless to say, I have some 14,000 place names to edit. The entries are all
over the "place" such things as 'dates' (some even BC and BCE), 'Of', 'will
proved' and 'died young'. Any way it is a mess.

The Master Source List was equally a mess, but not near the problem cleaning
up.

Thank you everyone for the help you have offered. I have the time spent on
each entry down to about 5 to 10 seconds. The left click button on the mouse
will likely give up the ghost before I am done. :-(
