Linda, I had the same difficulty and found that the feature could not be
turned off. I always export the ID report to Word, and then run a macro
which (amongst other things) deletes that unwanted section. Happy to help
with Word macros, if you decide to go down that path.

Yes, it is included as part of the basic report. You may turn off the
display of Flags, and the printing of the date and preparer if they are
not
desired, but the Reference field value (not to be confused with the
Reference Tag), the age of the person and the number of children is not
controlled.
If you don't want this information printed, generate the report to your
word processor and delete the data.
