You will need to add the Living Flag. Go to the Add Person screen using the
Add menu on the toolbar (not the Quick Add Person on the Event screen). At
the bottom of that screen, use the Setup button to add the Living Flag (or any
other flags). See 'Add Person Screen' in Help for more details.
