Walter, if you'd asked me for a GEDCOM you would have gotten nothing,
so count your blessings. <G>

I believe everyone should always re-enter all received data, and
"encourage" that in the cousins I correspond with by sending them only
narrative reports (but I do send them as Word files so the recipient
can copy and paste the names and dates). For reasons why, see

As Teresa suggests, the best method is to customize the Add person
screen to include tags for the data on the FGS's. Be sure to take
advantage of the F3 (repeat) and F2 (lookup) functions to avoid
retyping the same names, places, and citations each time.
