Thanks to all that pointed out the obvious reason for my not finding
instructions on accenting a tag, since it can't be done (yet <g>).
I have created an Excel spreadsheet (originally set up using a List of
People with birth and death dates) with people down and census years across.
Main point is to put ages in years of known census and accent in pink for
the first census I am not sure people are still alive. I add the state and
town to the age (changed to the census age) when I find them. This is very
effective, but labor intensive because I am doing all descendants of a bunch
of Ball lines (part of a one-name study; based on about 2000 names currently
in the spreadsheet "findability" maxes out at just over 80%). What I was
hoping to do was to rely on a tag accent to highlight which censuses had
been entered into TMG. A "nice-to-have" for a my wish list.
