Subject: Old Style date using yyyy.mm.dd preference

As yet, with the yyyy.mm.dd preference, I have been unable to enter "old
style" dates successfully. Are the Help instructions for entry of these
dates not applicable when the preference in use is not "24 Feb 1691"?
