You can move any of the configuration or any of the data files
manually. However, you should be very careful that if you move data file
then _all_ data filed for the project should be moved at the same
time. Similarly all files for any one Timeline should be moved at the same
time. There may be other files that are grouped and should be moved
together but I don't recall other than those just mentioned. Where
possible I recommend using the backup/restore method to ensure integrity of
the data. But as I mentioned earlier and Terry says above one should
re-check the Preferences section to ensure that file names and file paths
are correct in accordance with the computer hard drive on which the files
are being restored.
