Subject: Getting Multiple Names to show in a Role
Date: Mon, 1 Aug 2005 13:04:45 -0400
Hi, I have another sentence structure question. I read through Terry's
tutorial and it sounded easy - just define multiple people to the same role.
Well, that's what I did - or thought I did, but I'm getting only the name of
the viewed person. Here is the structure:
Tag type: Lottery
Role: Orphans
Sentence: [R+:Orphans] were successful drawers in the [D] Georgia Land
Lottery. <They were living in [L].> The land was drawn in [M1]. <[M2]>
Alfred J. Lester has the role Orphans (in the "principal" box in upper left)
Silas Lester is in the witness box with the role of Orphans
Nathan Lester ditto
Memo : Coweta Co., Number 247, District 2||The draw was for the three
orphans of Nixon Lester
What I get in the Individual Narrative is: Alfred J. LESTER were successful
drawers in the 1827 Georgia Land Lottery. They were living in Dooly Co., GA.
The land was drawn in Coweta Co., Number 247, District 2. The draw was for
the three orphans of Nixon Lester.
The three names show up correctly in Second Site.
Thanks.
Virginia C.
