Bob,
I don't think there is anything wrong in just using the mother's birth
name, but I was pointing out that Journal Reports in the NEHG Register
use the format "son/daughter/children of Willliam and Josie (Maidenname)
Philp". I haven't checked other USA standards but I figure whatever the
NEHGS does is good enough for me!
