WOW, what a hornets nest I opened. I am however glad for all the comments
and additional insights it has provided. Much like Dick indicated, this was
extremely enlightening. Although I don't consider myself an historian, I do
know a bit about my area of "present" day Germany where my ancestors came
from. And I am never afraid to dig some more for that historical aspect as
what we write about is our "kaleidoscope" and every piece of knowledge
changes what you see a little bit more.
Teresa - I'm sure yours is quite colorful regardless. <VBG>

Thank Goodness my family was thrown out of the Garden of Eden and into
Tennessee. LOL I am having trouble following the posts, much less figuring
