I'll give both your ideas a try (running them separately and doing
VFI/Optimize). I have a lot of immigrants/emigrants in my data base because
I use both tags....one for leaving and one for arriving.
Anyone else have any other ideas?
Jill

On or about 9/2/2005 04:13 AM a carrier pigeon from Jill Morelli delivered:

SEEMS

Concede...

At this point I'd probably have to run each clause
separately to see who appears under them, and work my way up...
I don't recall, but have you run an VFI/Optimize sequence
before running the filter? Possibly some obscure index field has
gotten associated with the wrong data records and is pulling those
instead of the ones you want. Most DBMS algorithms don't look at the
data records if the selection criteria can be found strictly in an
index -- and it would seem that Visual FoxPro is not the most
reliable database when it comes to index maintenance.
