Thank you for version 6.02. I continue to be impressd with all the
capabilities of TMG.

I imported a data set from GEDCOM. It had some of the "EstWFT
date-date" tags imported as death tags (for instance, a person's death
tag date reads "EstWFT 1800-1850"). Since TMG does not recognize that
date, it shows up (in the Project Explorer and picklist as a question
mark (so, for instance, one person is indexed as "Beaver, Moses, 1800-?")

In the past (before 6.01) I simply deleted each individual's death tag
and the Project Explorer/ Picklist dropped the question mark (so, for
instance, it should now read "Beaver, Moses, 1800- "). Surprisingly,
the question mark remains ("Beaver, Moses, 1800-?") even though the
person has no primary death tag!

The work-around I discovered is to create a new primary death tag with
an identifiable date (for instance, 1860). The Project Explorer/
Picklist now reads "Beaver, Moses, 1800-1860." Then delete the primary
death tag and - voila! -- the question mark disappears, and the Project
Explorer/ Picklist citation returns to the normal pattern ("Beaver,
Moses, 1800 - ").

This is a minor inconvnience, but would appreciate knowng if anyone has
encountered this before and, if so, if they found a more efficient
work-around.

Thanks.

PS -- I am runnng TMG on a Lenovo T43 laptop with Windows XP
