This is going to be a hard one to do with one filter, because TMG breaks the
filter into EVENTS and WITNESSED EVENTS. And since you can have any
combination of the two you are going to have to do several things to get
them all I am afraid.
If you know you always used the GRANTEE role as P1, that would certainly
help.
Try this one and see if it gets you closer:
Land Grant County = CAMDEN AND
(Land Grant Role = GRANTEE OR
Land Grant Role = ADJOINEE OR
Land Grant Witnessed Role=GRANTEE OR
Land Grant Witnessed Role=ADJOINEE) END

That may get them all for you.

Adding some information about my problem after finishing my coffee this
morning <G>

To be more specific, I am looking for people who have P or W roles on a
custom Land Grant, Land Survey, or Land Memorial (unique to South Carolina)
tag in a specific location, or who were mentioned as adjoinees on the
grants/surveys/memorials, in a specific time period. (The county name takes

care of the time period).

1) After I sent my question, I tried another filter:
Land Grant County = CAMDEN AND
(Land Grant Role = GRANTEE OR
Land Grant Role = ADJOINEE) END

As the filter processed, I saw:

Land Grant County = CAMDEN 11
Land Grant Role = GRANTEE 45
Land Grant Role = ADJOINEE 0

All but 2 or 3 of my Land Grant tags have at least one adjoinee.

Why is the filter not picking them up, and how can I get them to be
included?
