I just had an abrupt exit which is odd enough that I thought I would report
it. I had done exactly nothing in TMG for a few minutes before it happened.

The TMG error log shows that I had no abrupt exits from 8/10/05 to 9/10/05,
and only two since 9/10/05. The vast majority of abrupt exits I have had
have occurred when alt-tabbing back to TMG from another application. For
the last couple of months, I have been consciously using the mouse to move
from one application to another, but alt-tab is an old habit and
occasionally I forget :)

Today, I had filtered the PE, copied the filtered names to the FG, then
removed the filter and closed the PE (which is unlinked). What I am doing
is making sure that all individuals who should have a certain flag have it,
and that they are on a list I am taking to the library. Twice I selected a
person, hovered over his census tag to read what was in it, and alt-tabbed
to a spreadsheet list to make sure that the person was on it. The second
time, when I alt-tabbed back to TMG, I had an abrupt exit :

Fatal error: Exception code=C0000005 @ 2005.09.23 07:57:12 AM. Error log
file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\vfp7rerr.log
Called from - tmgmain line 584 {C:\Program Files\The Master
Genealogist\tmg\programs\tmgmain.prg c:\program files\the master
genealogist\tmg.exe}

I am running TMG v. 6.03 under XP and other applications opene are IE,
Outlook, Animap and Excel.
