Many thanks to John Cardinal who helped me solve my sorting problem on
the Description field in Exhibit Manager and to Virginia Blake who
sensibly solved my Properties problem. Thanks also to Jim for his thoughts.

The sort problem arose from me forgetting that the Descriptions field
is a text field and sorts accordingly, so 11 comes before 2. Mea culpa.

The Properties problem arises from the Properties window hiding behind
other windows and is easily solved by accessing the 'Windows/Centre the
current window' option from the menu bar.
