My exhibits (Illustrations to use Darrell's new term) are not in the default
location and I prefer them that way. I'd be unhappy with any change that
would require them to be stored in the TMG default location. I sometimes
use the images and texts outside of TMG, so this works much better for me.
Many of my images and texts are used in more than one data set. Currently
that requires only one copy which can be linked to more than one data set or
could be linked to more than one project. That seems preferable.
I'm unclear on where it is being suggested the data be stored. If the
master list was actually a link then this would work fine wherever the
actual image or text was stored. However, I wouldn't like it if the data
were stored with the actual image or text.
