I don't see the term ward as necessarily meaning the guardian has full
custody or guardianship. If the guardianship is limited to inherited
property, then I'd view the person over whom they had guardianship as a ward
for that purpose. The court records I have in these cases refer to the
minor as a ward.
As mentioned in an earlier posting, I do modify sentences as needed.
