Linda and others,

My daughter is having a similar experience with her local DAR Rep. The lady
asked her to bring in "some stuff" like a birth certificate and/or census or
whatever she had. So, my daughter figured she needed every shred of "proof"
she had. I ran some reports for her, a chart, and she loaded up a small
notebook of "stuff" and was on her way.

My daughter said the lady at DAR about fell out of her chair! She said the
reports were great and the information provided was more than she had seen
for anybody submitting an application through her.

They talked a bit about the software that I use (TMG) and my daughter said
she almost talked like she had never heard of it. The lady said that from
what she saw my daughter would have no problems at all; that it would be
great having a young member (32 years); and that it looked like she might be
able to show the "old timers" a thing or two. :-)
