As a NSDAR Chapter Registrar for many years, I can tell you that what must
be submitted are copies of the birth, marriage, death, census, wills, etc.
records . The application form that is submitted for membership is a
standard NSDAR form which now can be completed in a computer program
supplied by NSDAR - you must print the final application on legal size acid
free paper (we used to have to type them.) Every date you enter must be
supported with a source document and you must prove the link to each
generation with a source document and that does _not_ include fancy FGS or
pedigree charts printed from your genealogy program of choice. Those are
just for your guidance. Treasurer-General, NSDAR would not be amused if you
submitted them as proof and I doubt they would get by your local Registrar
anyway.
