Some would say it isn't fudging at all to point out that Jesus had no
earthly biological father, including Joseph, and that Mary was his only
link to despondency from mankind.
If Jesus had been a natural descendent of Joseph, he would have been
disqualified from ruling on the throne of David, anyway. Joseph was
descended from Jeconiah (Matt. 1), and Jeconiah was barred from ever
having a descendent on the throne of David (Jer. 22).
Not directly related to TMG at all, but the comment is begging an
answer. 'Nuff said.
I would be glad to discuss the in's and out's of it off the forum.
