You don't need to use the default toolbars. With Customize you can pick and
choose the buttons you use most and put them onto a custom toolbar. That
will take up much less space and allow you to have just the buttons you want -
like the Individual Narrative Preview in your case. I don't have any of the
default toolbars in my layout - just a single row of icons (around 47 I
think) on a custom toolbar, including quite a few buttons from the default
toolbars - like Add Person, Picklist, PE, etc.
