Jane,
I concur with everyone about using a custom toolbar. I did a presentation
to the RUG Group in November 2004 on how to create a custom toolbar. I have
learned a lot since them but it goes through the steps. It is available via
the Downloads page at the bottom under RUG Meeting Presentations to members.

Actually, I am not getting my messages showing on the list again, and have
to go to the archive to see them, and your responses. (Thanks Virginia, for
that clue). I think it must have to do with my Norton AntiVirus program.
Anyway, you say, Terry, that the Tool bar components are in units. That
must mean that I cannot remove particular buttons from a particular unit,
for ex., I wish the Individual Narrative Preview to show, but not the fan or
descendant charts. Do I understand that one must take all or none of the
buttons on the toolbar unit?
I was able to move them about with the bar on the left side. The report
unit is just slightly too wide to fit on the available space on the top row.
So, if the unit is rigid in nature, I must take two rows or no report
buttons?
Jane
