I was about to change some old local witness sentences to my new
death role tags when I realized I liked the structure of my custom
sentences. So, I've added another role:
[R:SurvivorAge] was [WM1] [P1] <and [P2]> died <[WM2]> <[D]>. <[WM3]>
Using this one, you can get basic output like: "Bill Smith was six
years old when his mother Lucinda Jones died in July 1910."
You could also get more complex output like "Susan Sandler was
fourteen and about to leave home to work as a maid when her
stepmother Bridget Daniels died of appendicitis on 3 August 1890.
Susan then became the family housekeeper rather than working away from home."
I left out the <[L]> because as a rule that will just clutter up the
witness narrative and if it's important you could put it in WM2.
Of course, you don't actually have to include the survivor's age in
WM1. In some cases it is sufficient to say the person was an adult,
or a baby, or whatever else seems useful or interesting.
