I second that! A genealogy vest! If anyone finds one, tell us all, please!
Another thing I am thinking lately (although this only affects the females)
I have been carrying a purse since I was a teenager. I am 58, so it is a
habit I hardly even think about. Although it is full of "necessities", it
is a pain to have a purse AND a laptop/binder bag AND a camera bag AND a
water bottle (and I don't have a Pocket PC yet but leaning that way). I am
looking for a different type of bag/carrier. It has to fit all the things I
usually carry in my purse, and also fit my laptop (10" x 12") and also a
file folder or thin binder (i.e., 8 1/2 x 11 papers without folding), and
preferably a water bottle slot or net. So it has to have lots of pockets.
I would like it to be presentable enough that I could use it daily, instead
of a purse, because I don't want to change back and forth. Can't look like
a teenager's backpack. Carry it to work, etc., so 90% of the time it would
be used without the laptop. But I often have papers or file folders,
because I often go to the library on my lunch hour.
I have looked around online, but haven't found the perfect female
genealogist 24-7 carryall yet.
