I hve a similar layout, but just one. If I happen to close TMG with one
of the underlying screens open on top, TMG will reopen that way. I then
just click on the name of the layout, layout 2, and TMG will reopen with
the correct layout.

I have Details filling most of the screen, with PE behind the Details
and the Children and Sibling windows behind the PE. All are offset so
some of the underlying windows show.
