John the word processor in your WORKS 8 is WORD. Look at your WORKS
literature or help file.

TMG does not have to fix anything. As Terry said save the report as a
WORD File. TMG has the old Works file formats for those people using
the earlier version of WORKS.

The spreadsheet in WORKS is not compatible with Excel and cannot be
opened by Excel. The only good thing about WORKs is that it is cheap.

I am sure that Open office can open Word files as well as WP and many
other wp's.
