For two years when I started TMG and was using dial-up, I wasn't asking
questions or giving answers, so I just put TMG-L Archives on my browser
favorites and sorted by thread. I checked once a week or so and "browsed"
the interesting topics, particularly looking for threads that might be
educational. The couple of times I had a burning question, I signed up,
asked my question, and signed off.

Now that I have cable, I set up some rules on my Outlook so that all
incoming TMG-L messages go to a separate folder and don't fill up my inbox.
That way if I get busy on other stuff and don't get to the TMG-L for awhile,
I can again sort that folder by subject and get through the messages quickly
using the old skimming method. The archives are always there as a back-up.
