That's the sort of thing I was looking for, Teresa. Unfortunately switching
services isn't an option for her -- their neighborhood is *very* old and
isn't wired for either DSL *or* cable, and sadly AOL is the most
cost-effective dial-up for her at the moment. We're on the lookout for
something else, but meanwhile I wanted to be ready with an option.

I had completely forgotten about the RSS capability, Teresa, as I haven't
yet taken the time to install it for the minor lists I'm interested in. (TMG
comes to my inbox -- easier to sort & control.) I can't imagine her face if
200 TMG emails landed in her box, but RSS is much more manageable.

Not sure but an RSS feed might work better for her. You might want to check
that out.

I should have added that I usually download my email, then read it offline,
although sometimes (like now) I read it online as soon as it arrives.
