Lee, it doesn't matter how I search, I want to add a word and apparently the
Replace function in the Master Place list won't do this. If I were
correcting the spelling it would do it. Unfortunately I just left it out.

Oh, right, sorry, I forgot that you were talking about places when I saw
the reference to Sources -- well, I would call them Sources. <VBG>

I assume that you have generated some List of Places reports with different
sort looking for possible smaller groups or combinations that may allow to
do the Find and Replace a few at a time.
