In addition to the comments made by Terry, you need to think about this item
vis-à-vis your knowledge of whether the marriage ever took place and, if so,
"when" relative to the date of the consent. I would be more inclined to
make an event of the consent (using the anecdote tag), if the marriage
clearly did NOT take place or if I could not otherwise document a marriage
taking place (e.g., no listing in a census, birth records of children,
co-located gravestones, etc.). With other sources for supporting a
marriage, then Terry's options all apply and you can pick the way that best
works for this particular situation for you.
Since this won't happen all that often, try something and run a report that
will show you how TMG outputs your effort. If you like what comes out, then
you obviously got it "right". If it is only sort of right and you are out
of ideas, then post what you did and what you really wanted and we can have
a go at it.
