Seems to be my night for questions.

I am using the reference field to help me find people easily in my Goodrich
Family Assoc. project.
The data is from a book by L.W.Case and I am assigning his reference numbers
to the same people as I put them in TMG.

I just noticed, much to my dismay, that you can have 2 people with identical
reference field codes. (alpha-numeric)
Is this by design or am I missing a setting somewhere?
