Very well thought out, Terry. Thank you.

It occurs to me that these codes -- in particular the [:NC:] code -- will
require use of dedicated tags, or special roles, or custom languages. It was
the [:NC:] that tripped it for me finally -- I kept thinking it should be a
formatting code like the current uppercase et. al., and then I realized that
I wouldn't *always* want the NOCAP to apply ... unless this was a
tag/role/language dedicated to producing that spliced output. (What can I
say? I'm slow this week.) Documentation on these needs to make clear that
they are not conditional codes -- they'll work in all reports calling that
sentence and created with that language. Works for me. Chris has already
pointed out the first change I'm going to make -- death-burial. :) Of
course, I'll have to edit my reports to make sure that they always use the
Burial tag, and create an "unknown location" role for people that I don't
have a known burial place for, but I'm still looking forward to playing with
it.

If I may offer some editorial comment on #3 before you forward it to WG:

"Add a new code, which I am calling [:NC:], which suppresses TMG's
currently function that capitalizes the first work of text output ..."

Should be

"Add a new code, which I am calling [:NC:], which suppresses TMG's
current function that capitalizes the first word of text output ..."

(Corrected spelling of "current" and "word." For my money, I'd also make the
clause starting with "that capitalizes" a parenthetical clause or replace
the "that" with a dash, but that's just me being a pill. <g>)

I like it. Where do I sign?
