A couple of years ago I became a confirmed lumper for census sources. My
census sources contain the location (state and county or state and
independent city), record type and year, with [CD] containing the rest of
the information.
This works pretty well for my full and short sentences, but my bibliography
source is just:
County, State, Source Type, Year.
I would like the film and roll number to appear in the bibliography. I just
tried splitting my [CD] so that "National Archives micropublication nnn,
roll nnn" was [CD2} and using [CD2] in my bibliography sentence, but that
clearly did not work, as the bibliography sentence is still just County,
State, Source Type and Year.
Is there any way that I can get this information to appear in the
biblography other than adding film and roll information to each source? I
would rather not do that as 1) it is a lot of work, and 2) I will be
splitting sources for those counties that have schedules spanning more than
1 roll.
Thanks!
