Are you using TMG's internal 'Check for an Update' on the Help menu or an
external software update program? It sounds like it might be the latter, l
ooking for a generic update file.

If you are using the internal update option and it is not working properly,
you can go to the Wholly Genes download site, select the correct update to
download; put it in your tmg main folder and doubleclick on it to execute it.
