I ain't no Beta tester, but privately I can say that I had a similar problem in an earlier version of
TMG.

Probably noticed, but too hard to answer <smile>.
I first incountered the problem when using F7 to enter notes. Usually the note would stick, but on
occasion it would not. Like your problem, my problem continued until I shut down TMG and
restarted.
I reported the problem to , but because I could not replicate, they could
not help.
Until one day I figured out how to replicate. The problem occured when I generated a new source.
Entering the title in a new source apparently uses the same proceedure as entering notes with F7.
The title would stick in the source, but when I then tried to make a note elsewhere with F7, the
note would not stick.
I then told and they were able to replicate and fix this particular
problem in a subsequent version.
So, I suggest:
1. Report the problem to rather than in TMG-L since they might have
some knowledge of the problem.
2. Then, if no help from , carefully monitor your keystrokes when ever
you are entering text - you might then discover how the problem can be replicated.
