I have a Canon LiDE 50 that I bought at Staples for about $50 over a
year ago. I love it it is about the size of my laptop but weighs less
than 5lbs. It gets it's power from the USB on the computer that it's
connected to. I would highly recommend it or the current version. I'm
usually an HP guy, own three HP printers and one HP Scanner on my home
network but I do love this Canon
